Clearing the Fog: My Journey Out of Anxiety and Brain Fog
A quiet cry inside me: “I feel trapped in my own thoughts.”
Have you ever walked into a room and forgotten why you were there? Or found yourself staring blankly at your screen, unable to think clearly or focus?
Yes, I have.
For a long time, I thought I was the only one.
For months, I lived in a constant haze. Every morning felt like waking up behind a thick curtain of fog. My thoughts were slow. My emotions were unpredictable. I felt like a muted version of myself—drained, disconnected, and disoriented.
At first, I told myself I was just tired. But eventually, I realized this wasn’t just about needing more rest. It had become my new normal—and I was desperate to feel clear, calm, and alive again
The Hidden Link Between Brain Fog and Anxiety
For a while, I thought brain fog was just a symptom of overwork or poor sleep. But the more I researched and reflected, the more I realized something deeper was going on.
Anxiety and brain fog often go hand in hand.
When you’re stuck in a constant state of “fight or flight,” your brain is on high alert. You’re always scanning for danger, worrying about what might happen, playing out endless what-ifs. Over time, this mental overload burns out your ability to think clearly, concentrate, or remember things.
Your mind becomes cluttered. Your body stays tense. And your sense of clarity fades.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re trapped in a loop of stress, forgetfulness, and guilt—only to feel more anxious because of it—you’re not imagining it. You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. It’s real. And it’s more common than you think.

When Brain Fog Creeps In… and Stays
At first, it was just a few missed appointments.
Then I started forgetting simple tasks.
Eventually, it felt like I was always in a fog.
Here’s what I experienced:
Morning brain fog — Even after 8 hours of sleep, I’d wake up feeling heavy and tired.
Mental fuzziness — Like my brain was wrapped in cotton.
Lack of focus — Even sending an email felt overwhelming.
Emotional swings — I was irritable, anxious, and sometimes just… numb.
I started to wonder: Can depression cause brain fog, too?
Yes.
Depression can shift your brain chemistry, mess with your sleep, and drain your energy—making even basic thinking feel like a struggle.
What Shifted Everything for Me
What changed things wasn’t one magical moment—it was a quiet but deep decision:
I couldn’t keep living in the fog. I needed a way out.
That’s when I discovered the Clarity of Thought / Mental Function Stimulate program by HeaWea.
It’s a frequency-based program that supports brain function through natural resonance and subtle energetic stimulation. It’s designed to help clear mental blockages, reduce cognitive fatigue, and promote better focus.
I was skeptical at first. But after a few days of using it, something shifted:
The morning fog started to lift.
I could focus for longer stretches without zoning out.
My emotions felt more stable—less like waves crashing, more like a gentle tide.
How to run the Clarity of Thought / Mental Function Stimulate program on Heawea.

1. Search for the keyword Clarity of Thought / Mental Function Stimulate in the free software section of Heawea.

2. Use either the Low Power mode or the High Power mode—choose the one that suits you best.

3. When using Low Power mode, you can place the TENS pads on your temples. When using High Power mode, the pads should only be placed on both shoulders.
I Also Made Gentle Lifestyle Shifts
I didn’t stop there. Alongside the HeaWea program, I began making small but meaningful changes:
✍️ Journaling to track emotions and gain clarity
🌙 Improving sleep hygiene and honoring my body’s need to rest
🧘♀️ Moving daily, even if it was just light stretching
💛 Letting myself slow down, and being kinder to my own mind
None of these things were overnight cures. But together, they became a gentle beam of light through the fog.
And little by little, I found my way back to myself—the version of me that can think clearly, feel deeply, and truly be here.
You’re Not Alone — And Things Can Get Better
If you’ve been feeling like your brain is stuck in low gear, if anxiety has dulled your spark, or if you’ve forgotten what it feels like to be truly present—please know: you’re not the only one.
I’ve been there.
So have many others.
And there is a way forward.
Many people have found relief and renewal through the HeaWea community and the Clarity of Thought program.
